Is colon hydrotherapy painful? Or does it hurt?

Colon Hydrotherapy is a strange treatment as it is the unknown. The treatment does not hurt and there are no sharp pains during the session. The sensation you feel during the treatment is discomfort, similar to those of a period pain ache or upset stomach. It is more of a churning feeling.

Is colon hydrotherapy safe?

When you decide to go for colon hydrotherapy you need to check who the colon hydrotherapist is governed by, are they insured, where they studied and ask about the equipment and machine that they use. Here at Lilliput Health I am governed by GPACT and RICTAT, I am fully insured and my machine is FDA approved and I only use fully disposable equipment.

How will I feel after a treatment?

After a colonic client's generally feel really good. They feel clean, light, less bloated, sense of wellness, bright skin; vitality and some even say they are lighter. Some clients can feel a bit lethargic, possibly get a headache and want to just relax. Like any therapy the reason for the difference in the way the client feels is depending on the level of health the client came in with, how much the body needs to sort out, how much the brain allowed the body to take part in session, mental anxieties to name just a few reasons why.

Is Colon Hydrotherapy very popular?

I would say that colon hydrotherapy is popular. I have been practising at the Lilliput Health clinic in Poole for over 2 years now and even with economic difficulties people are fascinated and want to try the treatment. Some clients have wanted to try the treatment for years and finally have the courage to do so. Many clients hype up and over think the treatment and nearly all clients are surprised with how easy the session is, granted they still find it weird.

How many Colonics should you have?

Colon Hydrotherapy is a lovely therapy because you literally just dip in and out of it. To begin with nearly all clients do 2 colonics within a couple to a few weeks of another. After this point I say for the client to pick when to see me next. I generally advise clients every change of season, as I believe the bowel and the body systems adapt during these environmental changes. I never over treat clients and just tell the client to listen to their gut!
