Poole Runners
Poole Runners count many of the top cross-country and track runners in the county as members. They have won the Mens and Womens team prizes in the Dorset Road Race League for the last three years, and some of their members have performed well nationally. However, as well as providing competition at the top level, they warmly welcome all ages and abilities, and have qualified coaches who will help you all the way. There is an active social side to the club; as well as gathering in the bar after a Wednesday evening run they have Friday evening social runs based on local pubs, and organised Saturday morning walks around our beautiful countryside. There are also plenty of club-organised races, summer and winter. In 2008 the club was voted the 'Best Running Club in the UK' by Runners World magazine.
