Caroline Pittard – Osteopath and Sports Massage Therapist

I qualified as an Osteopath in 1996 from Oxford Brooks, having suffered with backache for many years and at that time there didn’t seem to be much help offered apart from medication. Since qualifying I have attended many other course to add to my treatment approach. sports injury massage, ergonomics in the work place, homeopathy first aid and diet/nutrition. I have worked in many environments and I’m also qualified to treat animals and in 2013 I qualified as a Bikram Yoga teacher.

I feel a big part of my job is to re-educate the patient to understand their pain and problem and work together to manage it. This can be achieved by working together and to look at the bigger picture combining posture correction, treatment and exercise.

My hobbies and interests are very varied from backpacking around India in 2008 to climbing Kilimanjaro in 2010 to skiing, cooking healthy food, making raw chocolate, practice and teaching yoga where ever and when ever I get the chance.
