QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Chris is a Level 3 Qualified Sports Massage Therapist attained through Active IQ, a regulated organisation within the Active Leisure sector regulated by Ofqual. Chris progressed from a Level 2 & 3 Personal Trainer adding Metabolic Circuits, Nutrition and Gym Based boxing to his portfolio and moving on to specialise in postural analysis and rehabilitation. His experience working closely with professional golfers, dancers and sports enthusiasts has brought recommendation and testimonial to his success.
During Chris’ time as a personal trainer, nutritionist and sports massage therapist he has taken great pleasure in helping clients reach their personal goals, weather this be toning up and losing some weight, competing in their first 5 or 10k race, or helping to realign the clients posture through massage and stretching exercises.
WHY DID CHRIS BECOME A SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPIST?
Following an accident almost 10 years ago, Chris worked tirelessly to improve his own posture, flexibility and core strength to overcome his injuries. With his ‘can do’ belief, he has naturally progressed to helping clients resolve their own injuries and muscle tightness caused by previous injuries or everyday life.
WHERE WOULD WE FIND CHRIS IN HIS SPARE TIME?
As well as the countryside being a passion, Chris enjoys strength and conditioning sessions in the gym, canoeing, kayaking, running and wildlife photography. He also loves to spend a lot of his spare time with his family and three dogs Paddy, Dexter and Alfie.
