QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Georgia graduated from the University of Chichester with a first class honour degree in Sports Therapy and is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists. She is able to treat a wide range of individuals with different problems and injuries such as back pain, neck pain, acute ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis and ACL reconstruction rehab to name a few.
Throughout her career, Georgia has gained vital clinical and pitch side experience working with Poole Town FC, university sports teams and a number of other private clinics within the UK.
Georgia uses a variety of treatment techniques during sessions, including manual therapy, joint and spinal mobilisations, biomechanical and gait analysis, taping, exercise prescription, deep tissue/sports massage and electrotherapy.
Georgia is keen to expand her expertise by incorporating Pilates and strength and conditioning techniques in the future. Through experience, the back and neck are some of Georgia’s favourite areas to treat! She also enjoys post injury rehabilitation because of the results you can get through a structured plan and getting people back to optimal fitness following injury.
Georgia has caught the bug for travel and exploring new places which has stemmed from a childhood of moving around the world with her family. She is also a bookworm and loves spending her free time walking the family dog!

WHY DID YOU BECOME A SPORTS THERAPIST?
Having always wanted to do something ‘hands on’, being able to help people is something Georgia has always been interested in. Reading athlete autobiographies really made her realise the role played by Sports Therapists in a successful sporting career! This combined with her love of sport and interests in the human body, lead Georgia to her degree in Sports Therapy.
