PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW

Kayne is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Winchester in 2021 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. He has since developed a strong and well-rounded clinical background through extensive experience within both NHS and private practice settings.
Following graduation, Kayne spent three years working as a Rotational Physiotherapist within the NHS, completing seven clinical rotations. These rotations provided him with broad exposure to acute, post-operative, and long-term musculoskeletal conditions, forming a solid foundation for safe, effective, and evidence-based practice.
Kayne treats a diverse patient population ranging from the general public to competitive athletes. His approach to care is patient-centred, collaborative, and goal-focused, ensuring treatment plans are tailored to each individual’s needs, lifestyle, and expectations. Kayne places strong emphasis on education, self-management, and empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery.

Kayne specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a particular focus on the assessment and treatment of acute and chronic joint, muscle, and soft tissue conditions. His experience in trauma and elective orthopaedics has enabled him to develop specialist skills in post-surgical rehabilitation, fracture management, and recovery following complex orthopaedic procedures.
He has a strong interest and growing expertise in sports physiotherapy, working with athletes of varying levels to manage injuries, optimise recovery, and support safe return to sport. Kayne regularly applies exercise based and functional rehabilitation approaches, ensuring treatment aligns with the physical demands of work, daily life, or athletic performance.

RESEARCH AND EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE

Kayne is committed to quality improvement and has completed a project developing a comprehensive handbook for junior physiotherapy staff to support the safe and effective management of post-operative orthopaedic patients during weekend services. He is motivated to further apply his skills and actively engage in future quality improvement projects and clinical audits to enhance service productivity, patient safety, and overall quality of care.

PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS AND PASSIONS

Kayne is passionate about movement, rehabilitation, and helping people reach their full potential. With a strong sporting background, he has a particular interest in injury prevention, return to sport rehabilitation, and performance focused physiotherapy.
Outside of clinical practice, Kayne maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys playing football, training in the gym, travelling, and sea swimming year round.
