SKILLS AND PASSIONS
I have had a turbulent relationship with sport and injuries and I’m incredibly passionate about supporting people to feel their best. Whether this is educating athletes to train safely for performance, or helping individuals continue doing the activities they love, I work closely with people to ensure treatment is meaningful, realistic, and reflects their preferences.
I previously worked professionally with elite event horses and therefore have extensive knowledge of riding and the demands this puts on your body. I absolutely love trail running and hope to venture into the world of ultras in 2026, after spending my uni years racing triathlons (mediocre at best, very enthusiastic though!). I additionally work with Cardiff University Triathlon Team to deliver S+C and injury management, and work pitch-side for Swanage and Wareham RFC.
WHY I BECAME A PHYSIOTHERAPIST
I stepped into physiotherapy with the intention of specialising in veterinary physiotherapy, however during my undergraduate degree I found working with patients incredibly fulfilling and loved seeing their progression and enjoyment during therapy. I have firmly decided to stick with human patients where I can share my enthusiasm for physical activity. I believe that enjoying physical activity can be realistic and achievable for everybody, and want to be a part of individuals journeys. I love working with a diverse group of individuals and enjoy constantly learning.
WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME
I feel most at home trail running. Whether this is on a Dorset coast path, or sliding down a mountain in Wales, I’m normally covered in mud and thinking about the coffee and pastry I’m going to eat after.
