QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Jazmine graduated from Plymouth Marjon University with a First Class Honours Degree in BSc Sports Therapy. In order to expand her knowledge, she has also completed her personal training and fitness instructor qualification, so she can offer the best possible advice to her clients.
During her time at university, Jazmine gained experience working at Marjon University Sports Injury Clinic, as well as being involved with the NHS Pain Management Programmes. She also has a wide range of sport-based experience after being the Head Therapist for both the University Lacrosse and Volleyball teams. Jazmine gained further experience by being chosen to work with the annual Royal Navy Fieldgun competition team, throughout the year.
Jazmine has a passion for helping clients return to optimal well-being. She has taken a particular interest in sports players and helping athletes return to maximal level performance. She particularly enjoys the aspect of working with clients and seeing them progress throughout sessions, until they return to full recovery.
WHY DID JAZMINE BECOME A SPORTS THERAPIST?
Jazmine regularly visited a sport therapist during her years of competitive swimming and saw a dramatic improvement in her performance. This initiated her interest in sports injuries and the use of various treatment and rehabilitation to prevent them. Jazmine wants to use her knowledge to help and provide treatment to athletes from a range of different sports.
WHERE WOULD YOU FIND JAZMINE IN HER SPARE TIME?
Jazmine spends her spare time in the gym or swimming. She particularly enjoys running and training for half marathons. She also enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends.
